Food and Wine Festival on 21 March 2010
Attracting 12,000 food lovers in 2009, the Bright n Sandy Food & Wine Festival is Bayside’s ultimate gourmet food, wine and entertainment experience, held on Sunday 21 March from 11am–6pm at Green Point, Brighton.
Bayside City Council Mayor Cr Clifford Hayes said the Festival showcases the best local food, produce and entertainment, all available in our local villages, and provides opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the offerings.

“There will be gourmet food demonstrations by local and international chefs, premium wine and designer beer tastings, kids’ interactive cooking, family entertainment including hand-picked feature performers.

“Local winemakers and brewers including Willow Creek Vineyard’s Geraldine McFaul and True South brewer Sam Fuss will also be on hand to talk about their wine and beers and offer tips and premium samples for Bright n Sandy visitors.

“This year will also feature a number of jazz, pop and swing performances for all ages to enjoy, including critically acclaimed singer, ex Leonardo’s Bride, Abby Dobson and band. I encourage all Baysiders to come along and enjoy a wonderful day.”

The festival will include presentations and entertainment from the following:

Engaging roving interactive performances will also add zest throughout the day.
